Mr. Senel Wanniarachchi ( Senior Manager Advocacy and Communications and Youth Focal Point of FPA Sri Lanka) attended a Knowledge Management and Communications Workshop conducted by APCOM , which is a coalition of members – governments, UN partners, non-profits and community based organisations – from Asia and the Pacific working together to advocate on, highlight and prioritise HIV issues that affect the lives of men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender people, including rights, health and well-being.

Held in Bangkok from the 28th to 30th August, the workshop focused on enhancing the knowledge management and communication skills of advocates working on the Multi-Country South Asia Global Fund HIV Programme (MSA). MSA is a community systems strengthening initiative targeting prominent community advocates in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Mr. Aritha Wickramasinghe and Mr. Saranga Wijeratne were also representatives from Sri Lanka at the event.
