On the 8^th of August, the soft opening of the16,000 + sq. ft wide, Main office complex located in Narahenpita took place in the presence of National Council Members, the Senior Management Team and staff.  This purpose-designed multi-storied establishment will be to support FPA Sri Lanka's operational requirements both in current and future contexts. We have being operating from offices on State-owned leasehold property in Colombo for the last 40 years

The Chief Guest at this momentous event was Past President and current Vice President Dr. Pramilla Senanayake who first paid tribute to the inspirational work carried out by the founders of this pioneering organization and reiterated the importance of having the capacity to continue to serve the unreached, poor and marginalized persons of our society in all areas relating to Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Out of the 170 Member Associations affiliated to IPPF, FPA Sri Lanka is one of the four MA’s to have ownership of their very own headquarters which bears testament to the self-sufficiency and sustainability of this organization, which is in its 65th year of providing Sexual and Reproductive Health information, education and services, through its 6 service points island-wide.
