DEBATE ON DECRIMINALISATION OF COMMERCIAL SEX WORK FOR BETTER REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH OUTCOMES

The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka and the Multi Country South Asia Global Fund (GFMSA) Project partnered with the College of Community Physicians for a debate on Decriminalisation of Commercial Sex Work for Better Reproductive Health Outcomes in their 21st Annual Scientific Sessions.

The debate took place on the 2nd of September 2016 at Taj Samudra Colombo. The debate was chaired by Ms. Thushara Ranasinghe Agus, Executive Director of the Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka and Dr. Janaki Vidanapathirana, Consultant Community Physician & Technical Hub Member of the GFMSA Project. Dr. Prathiba Mahanamahewa, a member of the technical hub of the GFMSA Project was a member of the panel of judges.

The proposing team was awarded the winner of the debate
